SUMMARY:Bodies of Water - Life Drawing at The Launderette
DESCRIPTION:An artist residency and collaborative exhibition space with eve
 nts and workshops hosted by Fra Beecher\nJoin Fra Beecher for an evening o
 f life drawing\, including exercises and discussions inspired by bodies of
  water.\nPose lengths will range from 30 seconds to 20 minutes.\n\nPlease 
 arrive from 6.45pm to get settled\, so that we can start at 7pm. There wil
 l be a break\, to share your drawings at around 8pm.\n\nMaterials will be 
 available\, including watercolour paints\, monoprinting inks and paper for
  collaging.\n\nTickets are available on a pay what you can afford basis\,

 t and life model\, and co-founder of United Models Life Drawing CIC. Her c
 reative practice is informed by her modelling work and the weekly life dra
 wing sessions she facilitates in Bristol. Through her projects\, including
  Body of Work (2018-2020)\, Fra challenges the misconception that female l
 ife models are passive objects.\n\nAs a longstanding wild swimmer\, Fra ha
 s begun to explore the physical\, emotional and psychological experience o
 f swimming in the River Avon through photography\, writing\, drawing and s
 culpture.\n\nThis residency and exhibition is an opportunity to experiment
 \, and reflect\, making new work and collaborating with artists\, writers 
 and fellow swimmers. Through a series of creative workshops\, attendees wi
 ll have the opportunity to share their own personal connections to bodies 
 of water\, which will become part of the works on display.\nEvents schedul
