DESCRIPTION:An artist residency and collaborative exhibition space with eve
 nts and workshops hosted by Fra Beecher\nJoin Fra Beecher and Steve Kenwar
 d for an evening of writing and performances inspired by bodies of water a
 nd wild swimming.\nWriting prompts and exercises will be shared\, but will
  not be mandatory. There will also be an invitation to share/perform what 
 you have created during the workshop(s)\, and/or display your writing in t
 he exhibition at The Launderette.\n\nPlease arrive by 5.45pm so we can sta
 rt at 6pm. There will be a short break at 7pm.\n\nWriting materials will b
 e available\, but please feel free to bring you own.\n\nTickets are availa

 -2--135059#e135059\n\nFra Beecher is an artist and life model\, and co-fou
 nder of United Models Life Drawing CIC. Her creative practice is informed 
 by her modelling work and the weekly life drawing sessions she facilitates
  in Bristol. Through her projects\, including Body of Work (2018-2020)\, F
 ra challenges the misconception that female life models are passive object
 s.\n\nAs a longstanding wild swimmer\, Fra has begun to explore the physic
 al\, emotional and psychological experience of swimming in the River Avon 
 through photography\, writing\, drawing and sculpture.\n\nThis residency a
 nd exhibition is an opportunity to experiment\, and reflect\, making new w
 ork and collaborating with artists\, writers and fellow swimmers. Through 
 a series of creative workshops\, attendees will have the opportunity to sh
 are their own personal connections to bodies of water\, which will become 
 part of the works on display.\n\nEntry requirements: no age restrictions (
 under 18s to be accompanied by an adult over 21yrs\, 1:1 ratio)\nEvents sc
