Drop in, and contribute to a community artwork showing the history of Stokes Croft with a Sri Lankan twist!
New Sri Lankan restaurant Kottu Hut Grab and Go has invited children and parents attending Stokes Croft Family Day to contribute to an artwork in their shop!
Local artist Mike Stuart will be leading you to create your own interpretations of Stokes Croft history, using chalk pens and marker pens. We also invite you to draw some iconic Sri Lankan images, such as elephants, steam trains and jungles!
Come and contribute your artwork, and see it proudly displayed on the mural permanently in the shop!
One family/ small group at a time (due to limited space); drop in across the day! (Also, you can try out the food with 30% off to all ticket holders – just show your free Headfirst ticket for the launch event at BIMM to receive your discount)
At Kottu Hut Grab and Go – From 2 pm on Sunday 1st June
Free but donations towards the artist welcome
