Stokes Croft Family Days

Stokes Croft Family Days:

Starting on Sunday 1 June 2025, 12–4pm

Stokes Croft Calling was a two-day celebration back in Autumn, created with local people and businesses to showcase the creative heart of our beloved Stokes Croft!

Following on from its success, Stokes Croft Family Days will be a series of offers and events in and around the area, starting this Spring half term holiday, on Sunday 1 June.

For those of you that missed the Stokes Croft Calling final show event last Nov, now’s your chance! The day will kick off with a repeat of the audience participation Capoeira event, at BIMM on Moon Street

Here, you’ll also have a chance encounter escapees from Banksy’s Mild Mild West Graffiti mural up the road, as riot police dance with a teddy bear brandishing a molotov cocktail!

There’ll be a digital exhibition on the big screens at BIMM, including an exhibition of children’s art work.

To enter: take a photograph of your child’s artwork and email the highest quality version to hello@compasspresents.com by Sunday 25th May.

After everyone has gathered at BIMM, Stokes Croft will come alive with offers of food, deals for families, money off in shops, and fun activities for your family!

This event marks the first in a series of Family Days
that the community hope to continue.

* Stokes Croft Family Days are part of the City Centre and High Streets Culture and Events Programme, funded by Bristol City Council and the West of England Combined Authority.

The initiative aims to attract more visitors to the City Centre, boosting local businesses and the economy.

The project was created in partnership with the businesses on the street, and in consultation with local people. All of the artists and creative team have direct links to Stokes Croft, either historical or current, and for Compass it has been a huge honour to work creatively with the legacy of The Croft.
